Bob Eisiminger was the co-founder/CEO of Knight Point Systems, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned business that provided IT services and solutions to Federal and commercial clients, including program management, cyber security, cloud computing, application development, infrastructure services, and service desk management—before the founding of KPS Bob served in various sales/sales leadership roles, winning accolades at every level for a Fortune 100 Pharmaceutical Company. He firmly believes in creating an environment where team members can do their best work. He led Knight Point Systems to 8 years in a row on the Inc 5000 list; the best places to work awards from the Washington Post; the Washingtonian Magazine; and the Virginia Chamber of Commerce multiple times. In the summer of 2019, Bob sold the company to Perspecta. In addition to being a successful entrepreneur, he is a community leader serving on the board of numerous non-profits as well as serving as a senior advisor to many businesses. He served as the Co-Chair of the Veterans and Military Business Council for the Northern Virginia Chamber from 2017 – 2020 and currently serves as a Director on the board of the Northern Virginia Chamber of Commerce.
Bob comes from a long line of military service that dates back to the Revolutionary War. Bob was commissioned an Air Defense Artillery Officer upon graduation and served as a Tactical Control Officer and Platoon Leader in HAWK units in Germany and as a Public Affairs Officer at Fort Bliss, Texas. He served as the Project Officer for Armed Forces Day, among many other responsibilities. In October 1992, he was medically discharged from the Army due to numerous shoulder operations.
His memberships in Military Organizations include the following: Lifetime Member of Disabled American Veterans (1993 – Present), Member of the American Legion (1993 – Present), Lifetime Member of the Air Defense Artillery Association (1989 – Present), Lifetime Member of AUSA (2011- Present), and Member of The Military Order of the Carabao (2015 – Present).
Eisiminger earned a Bachelor of Science from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 1988 and graduated in May 2022 with an EMBA from Auburn University. He was named one of the Distinguished Members of the West Point Society of DC in 2018 and was named The EY Entrepreneur of the Year in the Government Contracting category for the Mid-Atlantic in 2019. He is a serial investor in Veteran Led Companies and currently serves on the board of the Johnny Mac Soldiers Fund, the Wounded Warrior Amputee Softball Team, and the Board of Governors for Chaminade University. Bob also serves as the President of the West Point Class of 1988.
