Bobby Perkins comes to NVSBC as an executive leader in the telecommunication industry. Having served in the Navy as a Surface Warfare Operations Officer, Bobby is a thought leader, developing solutions for both the public and private sector, which include Smart Cities, Smart Bases, NextG, On-The-Move Mobile Communications Networks, FutureG, over SATCOM, Spectrum Sharing, etc. Bobby has been a consultant focusing on 5G Digital Infrastructure Modernization for Smart Cities & Smart Bases and partnering with VOSBs to support the Department of Defense smart base of the future.
Before joining NVSBC as a GovCon consultant, he held positions as a VP of Technology for Bank of America, managing technology operations and business development. He has also served as an executive technology advisor, where he managed, reviewed, and developed responses for Department of Defense RFIs and RFPs while developing business partnerships to support Navy, Army, and Air Force technology initiatives. Bobby has also been through the process of navigating through SBA and SAM.gov, where he has become a certified VOSB/SDVOSB.
Bobby is a Pasadena, CA native who now resides in Miami, FL, with his wife, daughter, and grandson. He earned his Master’s Degree from Cornell University and has technology certifications from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Youngstown State University. Bobby also serves as an adjunct instructor for Cornell and Youngstown State University.
Bobby served in the Navy, where he was deployed on several campaigns. Finally, Bobby is an active member of AFCEA, and serves on advisory boards for Business Technology & Investments, SINC, and the Smart City Council
