John comes to the NVSBC with nearly three decades of being a seasoned, results-driven, and multifaceted IT professional offering extensive experience overseeing managerial/supervisory operations, enhancing corporate productivity, and a rich mix of transferable skills gained from diverse capacities.
Prior to joining the NVSBC, he held positions as a Chief Operating Officer for a Project Management Consulting firm with certification as an MBE/WBE/DBE managing the operations in Legal, Human Resources, Accounting, Technology, Marketing, and Contracts and Procurement. He was also the Director of Infrastructure for the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority, where he managed the Service Desk, Network Operations Center, Telecommunications, Server, Networking, and CCTV teams. John has also been through the process of navigating through SBA and SAM.gov, where he has become a certified VOSB/SDVOSB.
John is a New York City native who now resides in the metropolitan area of Atlanta, GA, with a wife and five kids. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Colorado Technical University. He has certifications in ITIL service strategy, ITIL foundation, IT Business Management, Crystal Reporting, Network Fundamentals, and Advanced IT Service Management.
John has served in the United States Army, where he was deployed during the Desert Shield/Desert Storm campaign. Finally, John is a Citizens for Progressive Transit member, Past President and chartered Member of King Citadel Military Lodge, and Executive leader and Board Member for New Vision Christian Church.
