With over 15 years of experience in leadership, business development, and government contracting, he has built a strong reputation for driving impactful programs that support both businesses and communities. As the Founder and Managing Partner of Protech Consulting Group, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) tech startup, Kamar leads efforts in Machine Learning (ML), Artificial Intelligence (AI), DevOps, and Data Science to deliver innovative solutions to government and commercial clients. His corporate experience includes managing multi-million-dollar programs, overseeing projects with annual revenues exceeding $4 million, and fostering growth in the government contracting space.
A former Logistics Commander in the U.S. Army, Kamar brings extensive operational leadership experience and a deep commitment to serving the veteran community. Additionally, as a Committee Member of AFCEA NC and the Chair of the STEM Scholarship Program, he is responsible for awarding scholarships to teachers and students across North Carolina, ensuring access to STEM education and career pathways.
Kamar also serves as a Senior Strategic Advisor for the Mountain Valor Foundation, supporting wounded veterans and their families through various outreach and assistance programs. In the healthcare space, he is a Medical Director and Partner at Priority Health Medical Clinic, where he is an advocate for mental health and addiction recovery, ensuring critical healthcare services are accessible to those in need.
