NVSBC to Appear at First Event

The National Veteran Small Business Coalition (NVSBC) will make its first appearance at the National Veterans Conference in Las Vega, NV during the week of July 19th, 2010. At this event, the NVSBC will introduce itself to the veteran community as its voice to assist transitioning veterans into business owners servicing the Federal government. As a non-profit association, the Board is comprised of veteran small business owners doing business with the Federal Government. The Coalition is organized into business lines including: information technology, construction and A&E; medical manufacturing and distribution; services; manufacturing; and all others. Agenda are established by veteran small business owners, with voting rights reserved for veteran small business owners only. Other members are sought that promote the veteran-owned business community including: large prime government contractors; mid-sized government contractors; veteran and service disabled veteran companies too large to remain in the federal small business program; and government agencies. Another benefit to becoming a member of the NVSBC is veteran-to-veteran mentoring.
