Hiring Veterans: A Training Program for Employers event

The Coalition, in partnership with Booz Allen Hamilton, will be holding a veterans hiring event titled Hiring Veterans: A Training Program for Employers. This complimentary event will be held from 7:30am – 12:00pm on February 12th in the main auditorium of Booz Allen Hamilton, located at 8283 Greensboro Drive, McLean, VA 22102.

The purpose of this unique event will be to highlight different methodologies companies are utilizing and obstacles faced in order to hire qualified veterans. Our inspiring Keynote speaker will be Commissioner John Newby of the Virginia Department of Veterans Services and the day will start off with breakfast and networking amongst veterans organizations. Additionally, we will have a Wounded Veterans Program Panel discussingDoD Programs Every Veterans Hiring Advocate Needs to Know, where we have invited the Army Wounded Warrior Program, US Marine Corps Wounded Warrior Regiment and Navy Safe Harbor to participate.

After additional networking, we will also have an industry panel composed of businesses discussing The Path to Developing a Successful Veterans Hiring Program. Booz Allen Hamilton, Northrop Grumman, L-3, and CGI will all be participating.
