Jason Windsor

Jason Windsor is Vice President and Chief Medical Information Officer for the Federal Health Division at General Dynamics Information Technology. In this role, he supports the P&L mission across federal civilian markets to prepare strategic opportunities, identify innovative pathways, and implement operational solutions with successful outcomes. Prior to joining GDIT and other executive-level positions in industry, Jason retired as a Colonel in the U.S. Army Nurse Corps with more than 30 years of service. His most recent role was the Senior Acquisition Executive and Program Manager for the Electronic Health Record – Core program office, where he oversaw operations, contracting, and management of the Military Health System’s worldwide legacy electronic health record. Jason’s expertise spans Health IT; defense acquisition and contracting; program and project management; healthcare operations; and leader development. He has diverse experience supporting Department of Defense, Department of Veterans Affairs, Department of Health and Human Services, the White House, and other federal departments and agencies. Jason is an accomplished nurse specialist, clinical business executive, and Health IT subject matter expert with board certifications in trauma and critical care, healthcare IT, and project management.
