Boeing Grants Two-Year Financial Award to NVSBC Mentorship & Consulting Programs
Date: December 9, 2024
The Boeing Company through its Global Engagement Program awarded a significant financial grant to the NVSBC Education Foundation to support both the NVSBC Fellowship Program and the NVSBC Consultation programs. Both programs are provided FREE of charge and are designed to support the growth of Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSBs) at any stage of business – emerging, small, growth to exiting.
The Fellowship Program is a 9-month program designed to deliver a tailored curriculum on procurement, business readiness, and finance to local cohorts who experience barriers to entry into the federal government contracting space. The NVSBC Consultation program provides business consulting to strengthen and support the continued growth of active VOSBs.
“The impact of this generous gift cannot be understated” said Zack Armstrong, COO for NVSBC-EF. “Veterans represent some of the most dedicated individuals in our economy, committed to delivering the highest level of quality, and dedicated to continuing in their service to this country through entrepreneurship and economic growth.. The support of Boeing acknowledges the value of our Veterans and the importance of our curriculum as a tool for growing successful businesses in the federal contracting industry.”
