New NVSBC Website Launched

NVSBC New Website “Designed to Serve”

The new NVSBC website launched today has been redesigned to provide more streamlined access to resources that support the growth of Veteran owned small businesses as well as its events that serve to connect VOSBs and NVSBC’s many strategic partners across the federal contracting industry.

“You can’t help but catch the organization’s enthusiasm and its commitment to serving the Veteran community” said NVSBC Marketing Advisor, Bruce Snyder who oversaw the website redevelopment project. “Working on this initiative with team members across NVSBC and getting to know its board and strategic partners, there’s an overwhelming sense of mission and innovation.“

The website designed by Leah Meilander (That’s Goodness Design) and programmed by Eric Schmid (Bufflehead Web), incorporated principles of user-centered design to deliver an enhanced web experience that would better serve visitors to the site.

Leveraging insights from the research phase of the project, the web development team was able to provide a design solution that not only elevated the website’s look and feel, but made it more engaging, easier to navigate, and provided a stronger brand visual identity for the site. This helped to accomplish an overarching goal of providing current and prospective members with easy access to a wide range of resources and training programs designed by NVSBC specifically for Veteran entrepreneurs growing their government contracting businesses.

“Not unlike other fast-growing organizations, we’ve rapidly added new resources and initiatives as part of our mission but recognized the sheer volume of opportunities created its own complexity. We set out to reconfigure the expanding list of events, business development tools, and legislative insights to provide an online experience that would be intuitive and easy to navigate” said Zack Armstrong, COO of NVSBC. “We believe our new website accomplishes that and also provides the right platform for delivering the value that small business professionals are seeking in terms of events, programs, and resources.”
