NVSBC serves as the leading advocate for the 35,000+ Veteran owned small businesses serving as federal contractors — a growing marketplace representing over $51 billion in awards in 2024.
This market is also in rapid transition with an ever-changing set of priorities and demands being debated and legislated in Congress, as well as changing priorities and initiatives being implemented at the individual agency acquisition level.
NVSBC & Van Scoyoc Associates

The National Veteran Small Business Coalition (NVSBC) serves as the leading advocate for Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSBs) in the federal marketplace. Through strategic legislative engagement, we work to ensure these businesses can compete, grow, and thrive.
With support from Van Scoyoc Associates, NVSBC is advancing a focused legislative agenda to strengthen the Veteran small business community, expanding programs that provide guidance and mentorship to Veteran entrepreneurs, and defending SDVOSB sole-source authority. NVSBC and VSA are actively implementing focused engagement plans with both Congress and Federal Agencies on behalf of our members and Veteran Owned Small Businesses throughout the nation. In a year marked by budget uncertainty and shifting federal priorities, our advocacy is more critical than ever.
As we continue to advocate for our members within the 119th Congress, NVSBC and Van Scoyoc Associates are working diligently to define and advance legislative priorities that will most effectively support the Veteran small business community. Engaging our members is essential to this process as we garner support for several key focus areas.
When Veteran owned businesses succeed, they strengthen America’s industrial base, expand the talent pipeline, and carry forward a legacy of service. NVSBC is here to ensure their voices are heard—and their mission continues.
