Program Manager
Marie brings nearly two decades of federal contracting expertise to the NVSBC, with a career spanning the Department of Energy (DOE), M&O contractors, civilian agencies, and complex business operations. Her background reflects a deep commitment to strengthening the small business ecosystem and advancing opportunities for veteran and diverse suppliers.
Before joining NVSBC, Marie served as a Government Contracting Consultant with the Florida APEX Accelerator and as the Lead Supplier Diversity Advocate within Sandia National Laboratories’ Supply Chain Risk Management & Supplier Diversity Department. Her tenure at Sandia also included roles as a Small Business Advocate, Program Manager for the SBIR/STTR programs, and Financial Lead for the Material Protection, Control & Accounting (MPC&A) Program under the International Security Program.
Marie has extensive experience supporting businesses across all classifications—from large corporations to emerging small businesses—with specialized expertise in socioeconomic categories including VOSB/SDVOSB, SDB/8(a)/MBE, HUBZone, WOSB/EDWOSB, and Alaska Native Corporations/Tribal Enterprises.
Her corporate career includes project management and financial leadership roles at Gap Inc., Honeywell, and Chrysler Corporation, where she supported enterprise-level operations and process improvement initiatives.
A Michigan native now based in New Mexico, Marie holds an MBA from the University of Detroit and completed international study programs at Oxford University and in Volterra, Italy. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from Central Michigan University and maintains professional certifications in Supplier Diversity (CSDP) from the Alliance of Supplier Diversity Professionals and in Project Management (GWCPM) from George Washington University.
