Alisha Mitten is the Program & Technology Advisor for the National Veteran Small Business Coalition.
Alisha is the President and Owner of Mitten Systems, LLC, which focuses on supporting organizations in system development, process improvement, project management, and technology integration. As a small business owner, Alisha has a passion for entrepreneurship. She has delivered change leadership and transformation results for non-profit organizations, including Saint Joseph’s University and Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation.
She has led the planning and implementation of various digital projects, including CRM & membership management software, website development, call center design, and event registration software.
Alisha takes a hospitality approach to business, given her extensive experience in banquet facility management, event sales, and food & beverage operations. She has traveled nationwide to open and scale event venues for a nationwide banquet service operator and successfully launched the organization’s East Coast Region.
Alisha holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from The Ohio State University and a Master of Management in Hospitality from Cornell University.
